The US Office
We loved The Office here at the City. So when we heard that the Americans were going to make their own version, we chortled and sniggered and jabbed ourselves in the ribs, and said. "Naaah, never. Won't work".
Apparently some Americans have seen it and they say: "I hate to say I told you so."
We think British comedy is best left to the British (and the ABC).
